Broker Support Model

When moving onto the Acuideas Broker Support Model, a broker will not have to sacrifice any of his/her commission, advice fees or ownership in their business and will retain their business brand identity.

We offer brokers free access to multiple blue chip insurer facilities for commercial lines and personal lines short-term insurance. In addition, brokers can connect with the Allied Africa Broker Network (across 16 African countries), and they have free use of a reliable short-term insurance system with excellent reporting capability.

Through Acuideas there are no data back-up costs for a business loaded on the platform, while a dedicated Account Executive is available to service a broker’s needs and facilitate product and system training.

Where a broker is limited in terms of geographically servicing footprint, brand name equity, PI cover, and expertise in terms of commercial, corporate and specialist risks (such as marine, aviation, engineering and construction, and liabilities) they can enter into a referral income sharing agreement with Acuideas.

A range of cost-effective service offerings is also available such as:

  • Geo analytics and customer insights
  • Access to HR support in terms of recruitment
  • Technical advice on large, complex claims, or PI claims lodged against the broker
  • Arrange PI cover for brokers
  • Back-up resources should broker fall ill or be off work
  • Access to compliance support
  • Succession plan with pre-agreed purchase agreement subject to pre-claim actions
  • Shared Engine Room (SER) – we can assist the broker with processing of quotes, loading new business, and processing endorsements on the IT platform. For this service we charge the broker a % of their commission.
  • Excess blanket PI cover on the Acuideas model (fee for cover)
  • Technical Advice on large and complex claims, or PI claims lodged against the broker (fee for service)
